Tom Jones, born in 1995, is an Oklahoma artist that began drawing when he was 22. One day in a summer month, a good friend of his passed away, who was an artist. The next day after his passing, a stranger came up to him, giving him a marker and a notebook.The stranger said,"put some love into this." From that day on, his mindset on creating, purpose, enjoyment, and life itself had changed. Random acts of kindness from strangers can have a profound impact on people, they can spark passions that exist within, but are not yet seen. Tom creates art and teaches art classes around the city to help spark others to look inwards, to have a deeper understanding of the self, in an attempt to pass on the spark that a stranger once did to him.
